This little guide gives you all the useful information you need, plus a few ideas for restaurants, walks and places to visit, so you can make the most of your stay.

Arrival / Departure
Check-in
You can arrive at the apartment from 16:00. If the apartment is available earlier, I will let you know a few days before your arrival.
Arrival by car
- Here is the building. The address is Rue des Theyers 4, 2000 Neuchâtel.
- If you are coming by car, you can park on the side of the house in front of the first garage.
- The key box is located in the Marie-Christine and Michel Grandy letterbox at the entrance to the building. The code for the box will be sent to you a few days before your arrival. There are two keys in the box. The first key opens all the common areas of the building (building entrance door, bicycle storage room, laundry room) and the second key opens the flat. On the day of your departure, please lock the flat, return the keys to the key box and lock the key box.
- The flat is on the 2nd floor.
- The name on the doorbell is Marie-Christine and Michel Grandy.
Arrival by public transport
From Neuchâtel station, take bus no. 107 towards Hauterive and get off at the ‘Neuchâtel, Châble’ stop. Then walk 500 metres to the flat, following the route you will find here.
- The key box is located in the Marie-Christine and Michel Grandy letterbox at the entrance to the building. The code for the box will be sent to you a few days before your arrival. Check-Out / Last day
Please make sure to vacate the apartment by 12:00 PM at the latest. If you do not know what to do with your luggage, contact me to arrange something.
Before leaving, please:

Empty the refrigerator

Clean your dishes

Take out your trash and deposit it at the location indicated in the "Waste / Recycling" section

Leave the apartment in a decent condition.
The cleaning team will appreciate finding the apartment in good order, thank you!
Before leaving the apartment, please check that all windows are closed.
When you leave, lock the apartment and don’t forget to return the keys to the key box.

Good to know
Bedding and towels
Beds are made up on arrival and towels are available in the bathroom.
Water
Tap water is very good, so there is no need to purchase bottled water.
Starter kit
In the apartment you will find:

Basic kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, olive oil, some coffee capsules, tea, sugar, a few trash bags, etc.)

Shower products (shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper roll…)

Some brochures about the region (regional map, tourist guide…)
House rules
We kindly ask you to respect the following house rules:
1. Authorized Persons
For safety and peace of mind, only the guests registered in the reservation are allowed to access the accommodation.
2. Care of the Accommodation
- Please use the accommodation and its furniture carefully and respectfully.
- The apartment is completely non-smoking.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Please switch off the lights when leaving the apartment.
- Remember to close the windows and lock the door when you leave.
- After a shower, please leave the bathroom door open to allow proper ventilation.
3. Respect for Neighbors
Please respect the peace and quiet of the building, especially during the evening and night.
4. Prohibited Activities
All illegal activities (prostitution, drugs, etc.) are strictly prohibited.
5. Identity Verification
An official ID may be requested before or during the stay, in accordance with legal requirements.
Failure to present a valid document may result in the cancellation of the reservation.
6. In Case of Non-Compliance
To ensure a pleasant and safe experience for everyone, any violation of the rules may result in the immediate termination of the stay and eviction without refund.
Guest card
During your stay with us, you will benefit from the advantages of the Neuchâtel Tourist Card.
This guest card allows you to:

Use public transport free of charge throughout the canton of Neuchâtel (bus, train, funicular, postal bus)

Enjoy free entry to around thirty activities (museums, cruises, bike rentals, chairlifts) in the canton
Here’s how to get your pass:

A few days before your arrival, I will send you a link by email or via the booking platform you used to reserve our accommodation.

Click on the link.

Fill in the required information (first name, last name, date of birth of each person in your group).

Access your card directly on your smartphone or print it out.

The NTC is valid from the day of your arrival until midnight on the day of your departure.
Public transport
- Neuchâtel railway station is located here 3 km from the flat.
- The nearest bus stop to the station is ‘Neuchâtel, Châble’, which is 500 metres from the flat. Bus number 107 (towards Place-Pury) will take you directly to the station.
- To get to the city centre, take the same bus and continue to the ‘Neuchâtel, Place-Pury’ stop, which takes an additional 3-4 minutes.

Shopping
There is a Migros supermarket about 1.5 km from the flat and a bakery next to the bus stop.
Neuchâtel city centre, where you will find a multitude of shops, boutiques, cafés and restaurants, is 10 minutes away by bus or car.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday are market days in Neuchâtel city centre.
Waste / Recycling
Please use taxed bin bags (light grey).
The collection point for recyclable waste (paper, glass, aluminium) is located here.
PET and batteries can be returned to any food shop (Lidl, Coop, Migros, Denner, etc.)
