Hello !

My name is Gilles, your contact during your stay. I speak French, German and English. I live nearby and am at your disposal if needed, discreet if all goes well!

 

This little guide gives you all the useful information you need, plus a few ideas for restaurants, walks and places to visit, so you can make the most of your stay.

Arrival / Departure

Check-in

You can arrive at the apartment from 16:00. If the apartment is available earlier, I will let you know a few days before your arrival.

Arrival by car

  1. Here is the building. The address is 5 Rue de la Gare, 2022 Bevaix.
  2. If you’re coming by car, you can park in one of the spaces in front of the house.
  3. The key box is attached to the window frame to the right of the front door. I’ll send you the code for the key box a few days before you arrive.
  4. Enter the building and go up the stairs. The flat is on the first floor on the left.

Arrival by public transport


If you plan to travel by public transport, Bevaix station is located about 250 metres from the flat. You can find directions here

1. Here is the building. The address is 5 Rue de la Gare, 2022 Bevaix.

2. The key box is attached to the window frame to the right of the front door. I will send you the code for the key box a few days before your arrival.

3. Enter the building and go up the stairs. The flat is on the first floor on the left.

Check-Out / Last day

Please make sure to vacate the apartment by 12:00 PM at the latest. If you do not know what to do with your luggage, contact me to arrange something.

Before leaving, please:

  • Empty the refrigerator

  • Clean your dishes

  • Take out your trash and deposit it at the location indicated in the "Waste / Recycling" section

  • Leave the apartment in a decent condition.

 

The cleaning team will appreciate finding the apartment in good order, thank you!

Before leaving the apartment, please check that all windows are closed.

When you leave, lock the apartment and don’t forget to return the keys to the key box.

Good to know

Bedding and towels

Beds are made up on arrival and towels are available in the bathroom.

Water

Tap water is very good, so there is no need to purchase bottled water.

Starter kit

In the apartment you will find:

  • Basic kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, olive oil, some coffee capsules, tea, sugar, a few trash bags, etc.)

  • Shower products (shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper roll…)

  • Some brochures about the region (regional map, tourist guide…)

House rules

We kindly ask you to respect the following house rules:

1. Authorised guests


For security and peace of mind, only guests named on the booking are permitted to access the property.


2. Respect for the property


Please treat the property and its furnishings with care and respect.

The apartment is entirely non-smoking.

Pets are not permitted.

Please switch off the lights when you leave the flat.

Please close the windows and lock the door when leaving the premises.

After a shower, please leave the bathroom door open to allow it to air properly.


3. Respect for the Neighbourhood


Please respect the peace and quiet of the building by avoiding excessive noise, particularly in the evening and at night.


4. Prohibited activities


Any illegal activity (prostitution, drugs, etc.) is strictly prohibited.


5. Identity verification


Official identification may be requested before or during your stay, in accordance with legal requirements.

Refusal to present a valid document may result in the cancellation of your booking.


6. In the event of non-compliance with the rules


To ensure a pleasant and safe experience for everyone, any breach of the rules may result in the immediate termination of your stay and expulsion without refund.

Guest card

During your stay with us, you will benefit from the advantages of the Neuchâtel Tourist Card.


This guest card allows you to:

  • Use public transport free of charge throughout the canton of Neuchâtel (bus, train, funicular, postal bus)

  • Enjoy free entry to around thirty activities (museums, cruises, bike rentals, chairlifts) in the canton

 

Here’s how to get your pass:

  • A few days before your arrival, I will send you a link by email or via the booking platform you used to reserve our accommodation.

  • Click on the link.

  • Fill in the required information (first name, last name, date of birth of each person in your group).

  • Access your card directly on your smartphone or print it out.

  • The NTC is valid from the day of your arrival until midnight on the day of your departure.

Public transport

  • Bevaix station is located here, 250 metres from the flat. It takes 15 minutes to get to Neuchâtel by train.

Shopping

There is a Coop supermarket about 250 metres from the flat.


Neuchâtel city centre, where you’ll find a wide range of shops, boutiques, cafés and restaurants, is a 10-minute drive away.


On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, there is a market in Neuchâtel city centre.


Waste / Recycling

The nearest household waste collection point is located here. Please use the designated waste bags (light grey). Right next to it, you will find a brown bin for compost.


The recycling collection point (paper, glass, aluminium) is located here, near the Coop supermarket.


PET and batteries can be returned to any grocery store (Lidl, Coop, Migros, Denner, etc.).
